# Documentation on Google Cloud Service Account for (GoogleVision key)

**To access the Google Cloud Vision API key and use the $300 free credit available for new Google Cloud users, follow these steps:**

1. Sign up for Google Cloud  
a. Go to [https://cloud.google.com/](https://cloud.google.com/)  
b. Click “Get started for free”.  
c. Sign in with your Google account.  
d. Fill in the required billing information (you won’t be charged until the $300 is used).  
e. After signing up, you get $300 in free credit valid for 90 days.

2. Create  
a. In the Google Cloud Console, go to [console](https://console.cloud.google.com/)  
b. Click on `API and Services`.  
c. Search for `Cloud Vision API`.  
d. Click on “Cloud Vision API”.  
e. Click Enable.

3. Create a Key  
a. Go to Credentials page

⚠ Keep your key secret.

**1. Click on manage service account.**

**2. Click on create service account.**

**3. Enter Service account name. Then click on `Done`**

**4. Click on the link.**

**5. Click on the keys.**

**6. Click on `Add Key` & From drop down menu Click on `Create New Key`**

**7. Choose `JSON` & Click `create`**

_The private key will be automatically downloaded in your computer and is ready to use._
